FAQ
Everything you need to know about buying, viewing and shipping with Compendio Gallery. Still have a question? We are one message away.
How can I buy a piece?
Compendio Gallery is a showcase: each piece is available on request. Send us an enquiry through the contact form or by email and one of our specialists will reply with price, availability, condition and shipping details.
Why do some pieces show “Price on request”?
Most prices are shown on the piece’s page. Where a price reads “Price on request”, simply get in touch and we’ll share it along with full details.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship worldwide. Every piece is professionally packed and crated; shipping is arranged per order, with costs depending on the destination and the piece.
Can I see a piece in person?
Yes, by appointment. Our showroom is in Rome (Via Savoia 37) and we keep further pieces in Liguria (Luni, La Spezia). Contact us to arrange a viewing.
Do you provide condition reports and provenance?
Of course. On request we provide additional photographs, a detailed condition report and any available provenance or documentation for each piece.
Are the pieces authentic?
Each piece is researched and presented with its designer or manufacturer, or as an attribution where appropriate. We are always happy to discuss the history and references of a work.
What happens to sold pieces?
Sold pieces move to our Archive, where they remain as a record of what has passed through the gallery. If you are looking for something similar, get in touch — we may be able to source it.
How do I pay?
Once you confirm a purchase we will share the payment details and arrange everything by email.
