ROMAN POLYHEDRUM sculptural marble table lamp designed by Lorenzo Ciompi, 2023 travertine marble sculpted and hand open hole finished on a original brass satined big table lamp sculpture measurements: height: 46, 27 x 23 cm,24 kg lamp: measurements: height: 68cm , diam 32 cm;4 kg available also in "grand antique" black marble this sculptural table lamp is one of "Masterpieces of Lights" series by Lorenzo Ciompi,2023 the lamp lamp is hand-made in satin brass, led 2W war light the sculpture is a personal tribute from the designer at the polyhedron represented on the engraving masterpiece of Albrecht Durer "Melencolia I" in 1514 and after resumed in a bronze by Alberto Giacometti in 1934 named "Cube". In this original version 13-sided polyhedron the designer used a very rare black marble named "Grand Antique" "Masterpieces of light" is a series of lamps designed by Lorenzo Ciompi for Compendio Gallery in unique pieces or limited edition. He uses exceptional and rare objects from the antiquity since XX century.
